Baasel-Scheel specializes, amongst other things, in the development of the DuPont Cyrel® Digital Imager, a large-format computer-to-platesetter for flexographic* applications. Furthermore, the company develops systems for rotary screen printing. These printing processes are very important in packaging and textile printing, two very important niche markets for BARCO Graphcis. This acquisition strengthens BARCO Graphics’ position as the leading supplier of productive prepress solutions for the textile printing industry and the packaging market.
